David Robert Joseph Beckham was born on May 2nd, 1975, in Leytonstone, England. He is one of the most influential and favorite football player. David Beckham is Madrid midfielder and English national team captain, widely known for his crossings, long-range free kicks and corner hits.

He is England's soccer superstar, who received the nicknames Dave, Becks, and Golden Balls, spent most of his football career at the English club Manchester United. He became Andrei Kanchelskis' substitute player at his debut game against Brighton in July 1992.

He also created the winning goal in the semi-final of the FA Cup at Villa Park against Chelsea, making United finish the "double" in that season. In 2003 he received a royal award from Queen Elizabeth II in the summer.

In that same year, his name was used as the title in the sleeper hit Bend It Like Beckham. Soon, he will star in a documentary drama film about Real Madrid, Real: The Movie, along with the club's superstars Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo and Raul.
